Photographer's Note

Taken at Labuanbojo small harbour after scanning the horizon when I spotted those young men manoeuvring a small canoe ashore after their fishing trip. They are descendant of well known 'Bajao' sea gypsies
who originally came from South Sulawesi, traditionally turned to sea for their living. They can be found scattered all over the coastal areas of Indonesian archipelago.

In many ways, our lives can resemble the sometimes turbulent, sometimes calm, always flowing nature of water....
