WATU ULO BEACH, a photo from Jawa Timur, Java

Photographer's Note

This place called Tanjung Papuma but local people called it Watu Ulo Beach (Watu = Rock, and Ulo = Snake), I do not know why they called it like that.
Tanjung Papuma located in the region of Jember, in east of Java.

This place is a perfect place for photographer who love to shot seascape using filters (slow speed) as there are many spots to choose..

The slow shutter speed has done wonders to the sea and the mist has created a beautifully atmospheric feel to the image. And then of course there's that sunset...

The rock doesn't look like snake. Maybe there are lots of snakes in the rock?
Reminiscent of the famous Ha Long Bay. Nice landscape and long exposure photo.

love this. So atmospheric and mystical. The place itself is a bit special but this capture turns it into something quite magical. The colours and effect of the filter is superb at creating an image of real fascination and beauty. Well done!
