Photographer's Note
This young lady arrived at Ogata-Jinja... the shinto shrine dedicate to Izanami the female deity for fertility.
There were many such girls paying their respects the day before their 'comin of age' ceremonies. Dressed in full silk kimono, with the fur trimmings, and don't forget the very traditional silver nail polish and mobile phone!
I loved the colours of this Kimono, all put together beautifully.
