hawk, a photo from Tokyo, Kanto

Photographer's Note

Like a shot of a parrot I posted walking down the other side of the street is a barber shop that also seems to be somewhat of a mini zoo. THey have a varitey of lizards inside wheil everyday there is a hawk tied up to a post outside the front of the store. Decided to make the hawk the subject of a few frames one day and This one of those shots.

The blurred bottom of this photo concentrates the attention on the hawk`s head which is perfectly sharp. He sems to have quite a dangerous look in his eyes.

A great potrait, both the DOF and his pose an eyecontact. I think you should try to do something about the bright green in the foreground, a slight desaturation maybe.

beautifull seen and captured It could well be taken in the wild, with a well blurred back ground to hid anything artifical, and the green blur framing the bird the magical feather details and that wonderful look in its eyes, one gets the feeling that if you could enlarge the eyes enough you wouldbe seen as the next meal on its mind :0)))#.

Those eyes are so intense, you can really tell he's a hunter. Good work with DOF as usual. The green blurred leaves create a good frame and the tones of the background match the bird very well.
