Photographer's Note
Fushimi inari taisha (伏見稲荷大) is a head shrine dedicated to deities of agriculture and business, specially kami inari (fox). Some torii are given to shrine by families, and the names of these families are engraved on torii's pillars, as well as date of donation. Atop of the mountain, this place has a very special atmosphere. Statues of kami inari can be seen on this photo.
