Hello, dear friends!
I am coming back to Trekearth after almost 3 weeks of silence.

This is my next post from the big Japanese tour.
This is an evening scene in Nara.

On the background you see the Nara National Museum.

As Wikipedia said: "The Nara National Museum was established in 1889 as the Imperial Nara Museum . The Nara National Museum held its first exhibition in 1895. As prehistory to the opening, there was a Nara exhibition. In 1874, Nara exhibition company of semi-governmental management was established by the then Nara governor Fujii Chihiro. The Museum was renamed the Imperial Household Museum of Nara. It has been known by its present name since 1952".

Hello Serghei,
A well composed image featuring this peaceful serene scene with a very expressive evening atmosphere. I like the symmetry offered by the reflections whilst the immense tree nicely counterbalances the museum. Very nicely exposed with agreeable colours and very good clarity.

Hello Serghei,

Japan seems to be the destination of the moment!

There have been some wonderful programmes on BBC about the islands of Japan and the outstanding environments and animal relationships that have developed there.

The wonderful reflection is what grabs immediate attention but it wouldn't necessarily make me think Japanese. The stillness of the water conveys a real tranquillity of mood.

Hello Serghei,
Nice to see you back. To describe a surface of water as looking like a mirror may be a cliché, but what else could I say about this absolutely calm water? The reflections of the building and the trees are perfect. The light and colours are very pleasant too.

Hello Serghei,
No wind at all and the water is so calm that we can find perfect reflections in the pond.
While the sky looks quite dull the colours in the water are more pronounced.
I have to admit that I didn't visit this museum.

Hello Serghei,
You have chosen to photograph some lovely architecture with classic structural design. I like the combination of elements, with the sculpture, the tree and its reflection, and then the building all seen one after the other, in a series of layers. This also gives the photo a nice sense of depth. The POV and the angle at which you shot the museum are well chosen, the photo is well composed and has a good balance to it with the tree to the right well positioned. Nice work.

Hi Serghei,
Nice to see you post. I would never have thought this building to be in Japan, it looks classically european. The calm mirror like water and it's reflection makes this whole scene very calming and peaceful, lovely tree too, the off centre composition of the museum works really well.

Very nice capture of this scene but the building does not look like a typical Japanese architecture but what is typical? Nicely captured with good pov and dof with nice details. I like the reflections on the water. Well done, tfs.

hai molte foto belle, ma questa mi ha colpito per il suo nome, si chima come la madre di mia moglie, Nara.
L'architettura č di stile europeo e c'č un bel giardino, nella composizione della foto sei riuscito a mostrarci l'insieme delle cose, dandoci un'idea molto convincente del luogo.

ps ciň che vedi nella mia foto, č una rete per la pesca, da noi si chiamano "retoni" (grande rete), con l'aiuto di un sistema di carrucole, vengono abbassate per poi essere alzate per controllare il pesce che č rimasto intrappolato. Il sistema č fermo e c'č sempre una capanna per il pescatore. Come vengono utilizzate ad ovest della Francia sulle rive del mare.

sehr gute Abendstimmung in Nara und Reflexionen, gut gemacht!
(wollte mir Lissabon ansehen, aber es war sehr heiß, interessante Stadt (brasilianischste Stadt von Europa)
