Only a quick grab shot, as this rickshaw was hurtling by at a rapid rate of knots! Looks like a traditional Japanese wedding custom. I have used a high shutter speed to freeze movement.

'According to the wedding customs in Japan, the bride wears two different wedding dresses. Before the ceremony, she wears a pure white kimono symbolizing purity and maidenhood, and after the ceremony, a red one for good luck.'

Hello Chris,
It looks like the rickshaw puller is trying quite desperately to slow down, while at the same time he can't help glancing at you. He has funny shoes, by the way, looking like a cow's cloven hoofs. It's an original snapshot, and you managed to make it very sharp.

The wedding rickshaw seems somewhat out of place in these rather prosaic surroundings, which makes the image all the more interesting. All three have engaging facial expressions but the puller wins hands down. A well realised grab shot.

Often in several tourist places you can take pictures of Japanese bridal couples, who in full uniform take pictures of their honeymoon in Europe and America, but as beautiful as this bride I have not seen them yet.
It is working hard to prevent them from racing down the slope.

Au Canada, pour les circonstances , les nouveaux mariés choisissent généralement une grosse voiture de luxe décapotable. Je suppose que les choses sont plus simples au Japon. Trčs beau moment.

hello Chris, The guy seems very proud. I have seen many Japan marriages. always impressive view, so different from what we are used. I feel pity dir the "driver". But it is his job. They have always this kind of shoes.

Lovely snap of the newly weds, but in your picture it's the working man who steals the show really. Especially the way he looks out at you/us is very good here. The Coca-Cola provides a sign of the (globalized) times we live in.

Oh, wow, two wedding dresses sounds doubly expensive!
It's a good shot and an informative one!
The hill looks very steep and the driver looks to be trying with all his effort to slow the speed of the rickshaw! Could it possibly run away with him!!
For a quickly prepared shot, the sharpness and the composition and very good.
