Views of Sakurajima, a photo from Kagoshima, Kyushu

It's quite obviious I am rarely online at Trekearth these days, but sometimes I find an old photo that will add some new areas to the map.

I shot this photo while in Kagoshima, Japan in 2015. The view is from Kagoshima city towards Sakurajima; The peninsula where the volcano Sakurajima is located. A volcano that is considered one of the most active volcanoes in the world.

My story from this visit is that the day after we visited the island, there was a sudden increase in the number of earthquakes on the island and most residents were requested to prepare for evacuation.

Odd, welcome back to Te, i hope you will stay. The two characters sat on the bench enjoy a stunning view of the volcano and the city further down. The impressive giant was sleepy but it is indeed one of the most active volcano worlwide. Fine colors, good image quality and excellent light, instructive photo note, regards.

Magnificent view from a well-chosen place, the city has nothing special, but as you have chosen to frame everything with that great tree it is perfect, the volcano in the background is a beautiful perspective, that leaves us, contemplate it calmly as the couple is doing in the bank.
A magnificent range of colors, in some tones, very attractive.
Good management of brightness and sharpness, which enhance the details.
