Changeable Weather, a photo from Hokkaido, Hokkaido

Photographer's Note

This photo shows pretty much the sort of weather we had for most of our week in Hokkaido in Aug 2003. The colour in the bottom right corner is the fields of flowers at the ShikisainoOka farm where we were heading. The grey clouds rolled in after what was really just a brief break in the clouds following a typhoon the previous night.
We had a few more breaks in the clouds and some seriously angry looking skies over the next hour or so allowing me to get a few interesting photos from within the farm. They'll be posted over the next three days.

I really like this one, a unique landscape shot. What makes the shot for me are the rolling clouds and the patch of perfect blue sky at the top of the image. What could be improved, I think, it to try and make the bottom of the picture a bit lighter as it is very hard to make out the details. Apart from that a really nice shot.
