This is a continuation from previous one, Samba Carnival in Tokyo. Samba dancers are so enegertic to run and take a special steps by wearing high heal shoes.

I did not know that Japan also celebrates Carnival.
Samba is a very lovely dance, my wife and I are dancers, every week in the dance school.
Splendid picture of the lady with wonderful expression.

it is possible to see the joy in this womans face, and a brilliant capture of her movement. Until I seen these shots, I was never aware of a Samba festival in Tokyo, so thank you for sharing these unique and wonderful captures.

Takero, you always manage to capture such outstanding emotion in the faces of your subjects. This is very well executed, and I like the uniformity of so much of the shot - the costumes, movement - but she seems to be breaking off from it a bit, which gives her interest and dynamism. Nicely done.

Viewing your gallery always puts me in a good mood.
I know i'll see alot of smiling faces.

The silver color really adds sparkle to the scene and the black is an effective contrast.
love the human emotion that you display so well, not to mention the cultural aspect too.
