Photographer's Note
This picture was taken during my first attempt at firework photography. I must of taken 14 rolls and got about 5 shots I really liked.
This is actually one of my favourite shots.

I love the colors here. I am wondering about the technique used here. Were these burst all at the same instant, or a bulb exposure catching a series of burst?

Wow, yet another excellent firework shot! Curious about the lack of trails though? You're very fortunate to get all of them in shot :-D

Great fireworks shot, with colorful, centered subject and no distractions in the frame. Well done.

Excelent photo, lovely colors. Taking fireworks picture for me means f/8, 5 secs exposure, point to the sky and starts the voodoo dance.

Excellent fireworks image. Very nicely done. The total blackness of the background works very well the show the wonderful colors and shapes. Incredible image.

Beautiful superposition of colors. Very rich palette. The interesting fact here is that the "flowers" have all the same size, which makes it a very original bouquet. Technically, wow! Call it an experience! But you've got a perfect one here.

I go along with Ornis on this, I really thought it was a bouquet of flowers looking at the thumbnail! I love the way they are bunched together with nothingness around the borders. Superb!

Regardless of how many rolls of film used to get this image - I would consider you an expert firework photographer.
Not only for this pleasing photograph itself, but also for selecting one from your many that manages color, depth, clarity and beauty. Very nice indeed.

Yours is a extraordinary shot. The colour combination, expousure, focussing everything is perfect. Ultimately your persevearance regarding shooting almost 14 rolls is awarded.
The best award is your own photographs.
Bravo.

Amazing photo. Just would like for you to share the "secret" with all of us, just a little bit more, that is, exposure time, aperture, iso - which i think is also the idea behind Trekearth.
Amazing, nonetheless.
Cheers
