Vang Vieng - My favourite spot

I say goodbye to Vang Vieng with a photo of the spot where I enjoyed the view and a Beerlao several times during my visit.
My best memories remain of the beautiful surroundings of this town.

Hello Paul,
Fine light and two good diagonals, one filled with people crossing the bridge, the other still empty. Maybe at that time it was still a bit too hot to sit down for a beer. The drink could get lukewarm before you had time to finish it, unless you were extremely thirsty. The bridge at nighttime makes me think of the more famous one outside Mandalay, although not quite as pretty. But the colours and lights and reflections are nice.

Goedenavond Paul,

Dit mag en kan uw favoriete plaats zijn maar het water is wel heel dicht bij de tafels.
Hierbij denk aan mensen die soms iets teveel gedronken hebben.
Natuurlijk de voetgangersbrug die het beeld perfect in twee deelt, met een mooie achtergrond.
U zal hier zeker van genoten hebben.
Prachtig foto werk, waar ik van geniet, bedankt.

Indeed, Paul, it looks as a beautiful ventge POV over the river and banks.
People crossing the bridge leading the viewer towards the far side and the impressive mountains ridge far away. Excellent light prevailed which you taken the advantage to come with both three good photos.

Hallo Paul,
Het moet inderdaad heel aantrekkelijk zijn om hier dicht langs het water te genieten van het aangename, warm licht aan het eind van een mooie dag. De loopbrug en de huizen en bergen aan de andere kant van het water vormen een mooie achtergrond.

Hello Paul, I can understand why this might be your favourite spot. So much to watch as you sit with a cool drink.
A good composition where the edge of the decking and the angle of the bridge create a triangle, adding dynamism.
I like the nighttime shot of the bridge, maybe it could have been a main post? The reflections of the lights on the water are particularly lovely.

Hi Paul,
lovely composition with the table and chair making a very inviting and relaxing touch in the foreground.
Pleasant side light added some long shadows.
The mountains are so nicely shaped. The view on the horizon is amazing.
Very good reportage and together with the note we have a good taste of the adventure.

Hello Paul,

The light looks pleasing, the chairs are empty and waiting, the view is beautiful, we could so easily be encouraged to settle down with a drink and relax in the setting! You create a very attractive scene, beautifully composed with opposing diagonals and a stunning back cloth.

The bridge is an excellent feature, being used here and looking very romantic with evening lamps.

Hello Paul, I can't imagine where this bridge could be. All this looks so different than what I have in my memories. I looked at Google map - there are so many hostels there! It is the same situation as with Hoi An. It was much nicer earlier but the changes can't be stopped. This bridge is funny, it doesn't look stable. Reminds me the bridges in Myanmar. Nice place to enjoy the views, maybe they have also tea there :).

Hello Paul.
I do not know if these tables belong to a cafe, but if so, what a wonderful place to sit and have a drink, the environment with the bridge, the line of trees and typical houses and the line of mountains in the background, makes it a corner idyllic.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and the magnificent composition; they are all perfectly managed factors, in this beautiful image.
