Photographer's Note

Dear all,

After some souvenirs of my travels in Canada and in Greenland, I am happy to present you some pictures of South East Asia.

Previous to Malaysia, I had several incredible experiences in South East Asia. I was nevertheless more surprised by Borneo. Partly because Malaysia is not the first Asian country that European tourists tend to visit but also because the nature is very raw, very strong and very true.

It was the first time I was bringing with me a digital camera. After this trip, I never wanted to go back to film cameras.

My first encountering with Borneo's nature was in Bako National Park (http://www.forestry.sarawak.gov.my/forweb/np/np/bako.htm). After 12 + 5hours of flight, buses and boat without sleeping, we departed for a 2 days walk in the rainforest. The park is one of the oldest of Sarawak and you can found mostly the whole vegetation of Borneo and swim in the surrounding South China Sea when you need to refresh.
The only trouble maker were the monkeys; they really act like hooligans, stealing everything which is sometimes funny - until you see one fleeing with your tooth brush or your wallet...

Great experience nevertheless!
