Malay Tomoi, a photo from Terengganu, West

this is about Tomoi, one of the self defender art that famous among the Asian especially in Thailand.In Malaysia there was a small group that still practise this Tomoi to participate in competition at Thailand.Like this shot,the two young village guy fighting while practise at Besut,Terengganu with a small members just around 10-15 boys.They will stay at the master Tomoi house for around 6 month,living together.This group trying to bring up Tomoi in Malaysia.This two young guy will representing their group to the competition at Thailand.At last the right guy was a champion at the competition..althought he still new in Tomoi.

Great shot. I like the fact that you manage to take the shot when they were above the ground. Their facial expression is priceless. I can feel the effort of their battle.

First a warm welcome to TE. A nice action shot you have here. You are see that they are not sparing their punches. You can also feel that those watching are much into the fight as well with their fists clenched and perhaps waiting for their turn. You made a right decision in going low for this shot as it gives a better impact for sure and waiting for the moment when both were in the air. I am not sure, but if you had captured another shot of the two guys with both their shadows in the frame, it may be a interesting compositon as well. TFS Andre
