Photographer's Note
Seeing this was quite an amazement really, call it visual chaos or jam choked, with all those canoes 'parked' into sort of an organised parking lot on a long narrow canal and virtually standstill. This is a place congregated by Inle lake's Intha farmers and the locals alike every morning to trade. As can be seen, most had already unloaded their cargo ashore except one was still awaiting turn with their bounty.

No lens hood mounted hence, lens flare is inevitable

Hello Abmdsudi,
A great view of all those long, but narrow boats closely together in the calm water. The light added a great mood and so did the people all around the composition.

Hello Abmdsudi, a ‘traffic’ jam! How does one get ones boat out of this jam when one needs it?
It makes an interesting composition.
I assume that you were standing on a bridge to get this point of view.
Thanks for sharing, kind regards, Jean.

Hi Abmdsudi
A great photo of chaos. I wonder whether they have any system for getting canoes out.

Hello Abmdsudi,
Missed this one. Reminds me of the floating markets of Damnoern Saduak in Thailand. Definely no u-turns here! Good sharpness, repetition and reflections. Tfs!

Hello Abmdsudi,
Would we call this organised chaos!
Traffic jams in cities cause great friction and ill tempered outbursts, but this seems to be very tranquil!
The owners must accept a certain amount of patience whilst they unpack, or wait to depart.
Do the canoe owners walk across the canoes of the other merchants when unloading or loading?
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello again,
This photo has a stunning atmosphere due to the lights and colours of the early or the setting Sun.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Very unusual sight indeed. You were perfectly placed to include one loaded boat surrounded by all the empty ones. The light is wonderful.
Have a nice weekend

Hi Abmdsudi
these type of compositions are some of my favorite, having a repeating subject filling up the frame over and over. this is great, wonderful visual, catches my attention right away
