Photographer's Note
At the Lei-Myet-Hna complex in Minnanthu, the drivers chill as their clients tour the monastery components which date to the outer, late period at Bagan (13th Century). Sorry there is no water for the horse!

Hi Ken, beautifully captured scene. Nicely composed, the backdrop is amazing in itself. The branches over the top are very well placed. the colours and lighting are impressive. This reminds me of the colourful "Kalesas", which is our Horse/Cart taxi version in the Philippine islands.
Take care always,
-Tom

I felt so sorry for these horses, slim so you could count the ribs, and without any water. They were so small and worked so hard.
This photo perfectly shows the horses in Myanmar, just as I remember them. "My" horse was called Rambo, but he sure was no Rambo, and I felt wooried when I saw what came in his bag under the tail, it seemed to be bloody. Probably worms in the stomach, poor creature....
My heart is aching.... for many creatures in Myanmar, both two-legged and fore-legged.
