Photographer's Note

Inle lake is located in the mountains of Shan State.
Many tribes, the main ones being the Intha people, live in four cities bordering the lake, in numerous small villages along the lake's shores and on the lake itself.

This photo was taken from a motor boat.

I am enjoying these pictures so much!! This one is just so cute and typical of kids no matter where in the world we travel. You've given me a smile! The lighting is really great as are the colors. A real priceless moment captured. I love it!! TFS and have a great day!

Salut Marilyn,
It's a great portrait of childhood and its joy. I feel a bit envious I am not a child and I am not there with them playing with the buffalo. The cane structure behind and the warm tones of the light makes it very attractive graphically.
Sometimes we forgot how children from less "wealthy" areas are probably much happier than, or at least enjoy much more freedom and open air, than almost every children of any "developed" town.

The light is delightful, soft and pastel. Like the boy trying to put his hand inside the buffalo's mouth. The other kid shields his eyes against the low sun. I also like the BG of the reed fence. A lovely shot Marilyn, in fact, wonderful!

Jolie composition, et jolie scčne de vie quotidienne. La lumičre est un régal, sur mon écran, c'est un peu sombre cependant.
