Took this photo of Ama Dablam on our way out of our Nepal excusion.

Compared with Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam is not very tall, but has much more compelling shape than Everest.

nice picture of mountains. Would have covered little more number other than with snow woudl make more effective.good picture

Hello Dan,

After beingn lured by your photo of Christ in the mozaic from the Hagia Sophia, I visited your burgeoning gallery. Among some excellent shots I indeed found this extraordinary view of Ama Dablam a beautifully composed shot, showing a truly magnificent mountain.

As for the photo from the Hagia sophia, Christ is of course part of the trio that comprises Virgin Mary, Christ and John the Baptist. But were you shown the carvings -- grafitti -- on a balustrade carved by some Vikings, more than one thousand years ago?
