Photographer's Note
This if from our EBC (Everest bast camp) trekking. Its our way to Lobuche, the second last camp to EBC. The valley is dead and the air is thin. We were in about 4800 m altitude and still about 4-hour long trek to reach Lobuche. But the surrounding, the mountains and the glaciers did not get rid of us to let us tired and fatigued in this thin air... really, we are heading toward the heaven in earth...

Une image magnifique tu sommet du monde! Un endroit hostile mais qu'on aimerait tous connaître.

Hello Ashish
A very clear photo with your fellow trekker well positioned. I have walked this track to Lobuche but with the brilliant blue sky this is not how I remember the day. Were you walking from Dingboche or Periche? Tfs, Marlene

What a stunning place. Wow, but I bet its cold !
We often use a flash of red to give an accent point in a photo, but this turquoise sleep mat does the job pefectly ! A really minimalist effect, just the blue white and browns, but the effect is delightful.
I visited the Himal 35yrs ago, but never so high, or so beautiful.. TFS !!
