really like this shot. It is simple and strangely restful with alluring symmetry that fascinates. The diamond shape created by the reflection balances and harmonises the image just perfectly. Well done it is a wonderful architectural image.

north korea is a rarity on TE, not many travellers dare to go there. and the media is prone to showing the country as an open air prison. but your photo shows a very different aspect, the modern face of north korea. almost like taken in florida or vancouver.

Hello Kasia,
Not quite like Singapore, but not far from it. From this distance these buidlings are very attractive and in any case they have produced beautiful reflections. I guess this is not quite representative of North Korea, to say the least, but the golden light is lovely and very well captured.

the sublime pastel colors and the warm light really take of the edge of these modern buildings, rendering them even pleasant. Even the almost monochromatic color theme works really fine here.
But somehow I wouldn't expect a modern scene like this in North Korea. Anyhow it is so rare that we see pictures from there, so what do we know really of that place?

Czesc Kasiu,
bazujac tylko na przekazach TV-ta scena jest daleka od tego czego spodziewalibysmy sie zobaczyc w Korei Pln.
Swietny kadr i piekne,delikatne swiatlo,ktore bardzo pozytywnie wplywa na odbior sceny.Poza tym podobaja mi sie te odbicia w wodzie,no i oczywiscie sama architektura,ktora tak jak wspomnial Leszek wyglada jednak o wiele ladniej niz Ursynow:)

Belle mise en valeur des nouveaux quartiers de cette grande ville verdoyante. C'est un peu ŕ la mode chinoise car les grands centres urbains possčdent des immeubles semblables et beaucoup plus "entassés"... Ici c'est plutôt aéré et pas étouffant.
Bravo pour ce cadrage soigné.
