having a stroll in the university campus...bumped into a group of kids wanting to have their "barkada" picture taken while one of them just sat there in distress...i asked them what has happened and told me his tooth aches so I shot their photo and this of their friend which I showed him after and just laughed seeing it and told him jokingly to brush his teeth regularly :> ...

This photo reminded me of my toothache-moments during my childhood...

this is a very powerful scene. great use of depth of field to maximize your subject.
the emotion can be felt thru the frame - very well done, with an excellent composition as well.

Hello Alex, Both very nice shots, very different in mood but both excellent. I like where you placed the boy in the frame & choice of DOF with the blurred FG I think helping in creating this mood of solitude & distress. Well done, interesting notes, thanks.
