Photographer's Note
In a private resort in Punta Fuego, this man and his wife came on their boat to sell lobster. The wife went arount to the cottages to sell their catch while this man stayed behind to watch their banca (small boat). As soon as he saw me approaching with my camera, he stayed back and sit on the head of their banca like a pro.
(auto-adjustments, straightened the horizon)

Youtr title is excellent, Manuel, but your photo is great. The colors, and the deep deep blue are very very nice. I like the shape created by the chain of floats. Well done.

Wow, this one is incredible. Colors, composition, mood - and those yellow floats on the left are such a great addition. The guy indeed seems to have posed for a picture before. Excellent shot, Manny.

Belle composition bien équilibrée. Les couleurs sont trčs intéressantes, celles des habits "tri-color" du sujet se mariant remarquablement bien sur le bleu mer et le brun sable. Bravo, trčs belle prise de vue.

Great Manuel! Really like the colors and the way everything seems to fit together. Still I feel that something is missing for being a perfect shoot. Don't know what. It might be something about the composition. Don't think much about that, this is a good one.

It is amazing how much interest that line of netting is on the sea behind this man. The colors and light are fantastic, here. Centered is a good choice for your subject. Thanks for showing us something about him, his life, and his personality here!

Another lovely photo by you Manny. I always enjoy to see what you have come up with. The colours are vibrante and the net to the left adds an extra touch to the photo. The horizon seem to be some what disorted/curved, probably from the camera. Did you yous your Zoom? It can give this effect. Don't think there is a fix for this type of disortion in PS though.

Simply stunning, Manny and straight into my Favourites. Everything is perfect about this. As David observes, there is something particularly compelling about the line of the net.

Beautiful and so clear /in details and sharpness/ perspective shot! I am amazed how the colour of his scarf matches perfectly the colour of the boat shadow! :-) I love the title too - seems as if a contemporary version of illustration to Hemingway's story...;-) You have done a great job Manny!

Excelent colors, light/shade, details, and a great composition!
Also like the round distortion on the horizon! It works very well giving a certain kind of dinamic.

Beautiful composition and sweet colours which get married well to the sea. A success.
Belle composition et couleurs douces qui se marient bien avec la mer. Un succčs.

I really this photo. I would have tried taking five or ten steps towards the right. This would slant all your angles, placed the fellow more to the left and given you much more eye movement through out the photo. Wish I was there. Bill

Perhaps he thought you were going to steal his banca!
You are fortunate to live in a culture that embraces vivid colors in its dress. The blue in the man's head scarf, the blue at the bow of the boat, the blue in the sea near the horizon mark this photo, as the does the lovely arc of the fishing nets to the left. This is a fine composition with distinctive elements at a natural setting of great beauty. Who could ask for more. As always, your note is evocative and to the point. Well done!

Hi Manuel,
What a great shot of this man's tool of livelihood and himself. Of course, I think it helps he was wearing very matching colours, which considering that these colours he wore 2 years ago are the colours of the 2006 summmer season, I must say this man has foresight!
Cheers,
Cheryl
