To take selfies is one of the most famous usages of the modern life in the world, but nobody transformed this in artwork as the Chinese citizens do.
In my tour by the island I found some girls with different clothes, prepared to take special selfies using the lake as a scenery. One of that women was very elegant using a red cloth with a black hat but these two girls brought colorful dresses and a special tulle veil they use in different ways, making each selfie in a different style.

Tirar selfies é um dos hábitos da vida moderna mais comuns em todo o mundo, mas ninguém transformou isso em forma de arte como os chineses fazem.
No meu tour pela ilha encontrei várias mulheres chinesas, uma delas estava belamente trajada de vermelho com um chapéu preto justamente para tirar belas selfies, mas essas outras duas garotas estavam querendo fazer algo mais extravagante, trouxeram vestidos coloridos e um véu de tule, a cada momento elas variavam as roupas, criando novas combinaçőes.

Hello Jorge,
This photo is far better than anything these women took. It's quite funny but also colourful and nicely composed with the two persons as very good eye-catchers in front of four horizontal areas. I will never understand any persons, Asian or whatever, who travel around the world taking photos of themselves.

Hello Jorge,

You are right, the Chines people seem addicted to selfies but I have never seen them performing in front of the camera, like this, before!
I would imagine that their photographs do not have the same composition, and interest as this one of yours!
The grass, the lake, the mountains give an excellent setting with these two female characters adding a narrative!

You have captured well the actuion of the girls. The distance between the two shores is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the lake and of the mountains. Have a nice dya.

This is are an unique picture with the show of two ladies at the beach, it seems a wedding clothing.

Si la moda del selfie, puede llegar a lo mas absurdo e incluso a correr peligros, es algo que no entiendo.
La verdad estas dos chicas me parecen un poco estrafalarias, sobre todo la del tul, no creo que sus fotos en las redes sean un exito.
Buena, nitidez, luminosidad, colorido y la composición elegida.
Una foto muy original.

it seems they have fun indeed. I take also a lot of photos of my wife and daughter in places like this hence sometimes there is no time for me to take photos without people for TrekEarth...
Very well prepared with various outfits. I wonder how big their baggage is...

Hello, Jorge, Nice scene with these two girls in their pastel dresses. Our friend Craig also went to Spain with wedding dresses to make some wedding sessions there. Strange. I take some selfies but in the mirrors. I recognize these white triangles on the other side of the lake.
