This photo was taken a few minutes ago. This is an alternating view from my balcony. I can say this is a "dark side" of the street, 'cause you have often see the church and the Kama river, other view from my own window.

Hello Serghei,
Your rare photos from your home area are always interesting. This part of Russia is not often seen on TE. Although this could basically have been anywhere, like a suburb of Stockholm, even that knowledge is interesting. And as a photo it is very good. There is a strong diagonal with an eerie, strange red light, which could be cosy, but maybe also threatening. Is this a safe place, or are there robbers waiting behind a bush? I like photos that set my imagination going. It's a very nicely composed photo and perfectly exposed, and it is rather exciting to know that it's so fresh. It's almost like watching a live transmission from the Urals.

Hello Serghei, Nice to see the photo from Kransokamsk. I remember this view as it I have seen it yesterday, not a one year ago.Beautiful night shot, I like the composition with the diagonal line of lights. Nice warm colours.

I certainly must take time to log in and comment when I see a photo that has personal meaning to me. :) The deep orange/red glow from the street lights first caught my attention from the main gallery, and I quickly realized the location of this picture. :))

Always a pleasant sight and fond memory, I'm happy to see these images from your home! As Gert mentioned, I too enjoy imagery that aids induces the imagination, and this captures an intriguing mood down below. Hope all is well bud, take good care.

Hello Serghei,

I find that type of "moody" pictures very interesting. The light level is adequate to the atmosphere, those human figures in white costumes create a bit of mistery.
This is a good composition.

Hi Serghei,
I like nightshots from "non-tourist" spots. I just read your answer to Gert about muggings and I understand that this is a safe area, but as a non local I would probably be careful here. I like the noise in the photoquality here, it adds an Autumn atmosphere. Two people in the center of the picture are perfect in this kind of scene, well done!

Dear Serghei,

That was the night of the lunar eclipse. It appears that you had cloudy skies, since you are not pointing your camera at the moon. John Cannon (Tyro) had a superb collection of the sequence of moon shots, that I put into the group theme, The Moon....

Hello Serghei,

The diagonal path adds strong lead in lines towards the back. The orange illumination and saturation in the fg add interest. Good high pov and the bg apartment blocks add context. The tyres at right make nice flower beds! Tfs!

A good view from your home. I like the reddish tones and light. Excellent vertical frame. There is a little bit of grain in the sky, but it adds to the sense of mystery we get from this photo.

it was sunday night in Krasnokamsk and not a soul around :-)
