Irkutsk, the capital of East Siberia is quit famous for its wooden buildings. You can see nice handcrafted elements.
The areas where wooden buildings dominate, although there have been enormous fires, are beautiful and there you can find a deeper national heritage.

Vroeger hadden de mensen nog oog voor details, goed te zien boven de ramen.
Ik hou wel van deze oude architecture, plezant om naar te kijken, mooi samengesteld.

A picturesque view indeed!
The old wooden house is beautiful and the fine old tree adds to the atmosphere, and I notice the lovely windows...
A balanced composition with good details, fine contrast with the foliage!

marvelous sample of architecture, unfortunately most of wood's houses of my hometown was demolished, including my 2 first homes, church and school. Here i liked the contrast between the hard trunks and the addorned windows of this façade.perfect use of the light and framing. well done
