Photographer's Note
Once again I had troubles with the women who sell tickets in the Railway Station, one of them, with anger in the eyes, had a poster with English information when I asked her by help...
It was a cold day, maybe the coldest of my trip. The station was far from the palace and I was afraid to take a bus and then I decided to walk across the city. It was drizzling and so cold and humid outside me that it was difficult to dry my big nose that condensed the air in water fast.
Pushkin is a city not so far from Saint Petersburg, where is located Tsarskoe Selo Palace. This building was created in 1752 by the tsarina Elizabeth, but when Catherine the Great got the power she contracted another architect to rebuild the palace, swapping the baroque by neo-classical style in many parts. During II War the palace was took by the Nazis and they destroyed it by revenge, fortunately most of the artworks were took by the Russian in few hours before the invasion, but many things were gone.
The palace was used as a house by the last czars because the original Winter Palace was something closer of the city and dangerous too.
The palace is surrounded by a huge park with lake and many pavilions.
Here we can see the main staircase.

Hi Jorge,
The red drapes are eyecatching. The point of view is showing the details of the walls and of the balustrade. The light is giving good colors rendering. Have a nice day.

Hello Jorge,
You chose a good angle with a view of the staircase but also the curtains before the windows make your picture attractive.
Nice sharp and clear.
Composition and presentation are superb.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Jorge,
This palace really speaks of opulence!
It looks as if no expense was spared to turn this 18th century palace into one with a whole new design! Everywhere on your photograph, there are signs of sculptures, mouldings, fretwork and expensive drapes!
A good representation.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Jorge
Humble indeed! It looks a bit like the main staircase in the Hermitage museum. A good photo considering the tricky bright window light.
cheers

Hi Jorge,
A beautiful interior reminiscent of Peleș Castle in Romania. Good sharpness and plenty of ornate detail to observe. Tfs!

Hello Jorge, Again troubles with tickets... Strange that in September it was already cold. But St. Peterburg is quite on the north. So, finally, you went to Tsarskoe Selo. I liked the park there. There is so much to see in the park. Have you heard the singing?
Our tour guide at first didn't like to go into the palace, there was a big queue for tickets, But we wanted to see the Amber Room. There was a revolt in the group and finally, we went inside. Haha, In the park I lost my husband, I was a bit nervous, but he somehow found himself.
Impressive view of this staircase.

Hi Jorge,
This is a beautiful building. The photo shows off much of the decoration on the walls and ceiling, and the voluptuous red curtains. Excellent depth of field and sharpness. The lights are a bit overexposed but the rest of the photo is well exposed.

Hi Jorge,
a very funny title here indeed. It made me laugh.
Amazing interior so very decorative. Again each fragment of the wall is used but is different way than the Orthodox church interiors.
The red curtains add a nice touch to the white walls.
Excellent presentation,
M

Hola Jorge.
Buena nitidez y luminosidad.
Muy buena composición, magnífica presentación.
Que tengas un buen comienzo de semana.
Calidos saludos.
Luis.
