Moika Palace has many fabulous halls and this is probably the most impressive, the Moorish Room. It is adorned in fake Arabian style, mixing the European taste with the Arabian fantasy and a touch of gold. Of course the fireplace and the statues never would be present in such real Arabian rooms.
This room was very dark and this image isn't so sharp.

O Palácio Moika tem várias salas impressionantes, mas talvez a mais incrível seja essa, a Sala Moura, decorada com um falso estilo árabe, mesclando o gosto europeu com a ideia de como seria um ambiente árabe a colocando em tudo um toque de ouro. Obviamente as estátuas e a lareira jamais haveriam de estar num ambiente árabe.
A sala era bem escura e a imagem năo saiu muito nítida.

Hello Jorge,
The sharpness is okay, and we get a good look at the fine details of the decorations. The colours are very nice too. But what was this room used for? That looks like a kind of bathtub.

Hello Jorge,

This is a really opulent bathroom!
Your details are clear enough, (though the lighting was difficult for photography,) for us to be able to see the finery of the decorations and the expensive materials!
I fancy something like this though I don't think our house is big enough!!

Olá Jorge,
um ambiente dificil de fotografar, talvez com um tripé e mais tempo. Apesar da beleza desses locais, năo me impressiona, todo esse luxo, ostentaçăo e riqueza foi ao custo de muitas vidas... que se perpetua até hoje. Aqui em MG dois funcionários do tribunal de contas do estado aposentaram ontem com salário de 50 mil por męs.... e a grande maioria dos servidores estaduais năo receberam seu 13o. nem de 2019 ainda... difícil entender, ou năo. Nosso governador mora em um "palácio esadual" que năo deve ser muito diferente disso aí năo... enquanto isso gasolina a R$ 6,00 aqui.
Belo trabalho seu aqui.

Hello Jorge,

It seems it was the fashion to have rooms with different themes. I recall Peles Castle in Romania had a Turkish Room, A French room, an Italian room and so on. This Arabian room with its fountain at left is quite ornate. Adequate sharpness and lighting. Tfs!

So this was your bathroom in the hotel in St. Petersburg :)
Not easy to take this picture with the reflected light.
But we can enjoy the view of the many beautiful decorations of the door, window, wall and ceiling. In addition, there are some works of art and the large fireplace.
A marble bath should certainly not be missing.
The dream of someone who had too much money.

Este salon con esta decoracion seudo-arabe, es muy hermoso, magníficas las celosias y el piso de marmol, esa gran pila de marmol tendria agua y los tres chorros corriendo.
Punto de vista, nitidez, y colorido estan muy bien.

indeed we don't see any windows just bright lamps which does not make it easy to record a photo there but it is largely sharp, may be in few spots it is slightly loosing definition but it happens to me all the time as well.
This was certainly worth to photograph and share with us. The decorations are so very rich and eye catching.
From the floors to the ceilings.
