Photographer's Note

Changi Airport is the main airport in Singapore. It is a major aviation hub in Southeast Asia and the 18th busiest airport in the world. It connects to over 200 destinations worldwide, with 5000 arrivals and departures a week by 80 international airlines.

There are plenty of facilities to entertain in-transit passengers. As well as the usual duty-free shops and eating outlets, Changi Airport has large areas of gardens including orchid, cacti, bamboo and fern gardens and there are even koi fish ponds and a butterfly garden. You can also use the free internet and games facilities, prayer rooms, showers, spas, a gym, a swimming pool, children's play areas .... and for those whose feet need a little stimulation after a long flight there are free foot and calf massage stations.
