ultra minimal, a photo from Seoul, North

Photographer's Note

seoul weather was beautiful today. so i took the chance to go out and shoot with trekkers jinju and vagabond travels. we wandered around seoul shooting what we saw and enjoying the great weather.

while walking, we discussed photography and minimalist photos. that was when i was inspired to take this shot. currently, cherry blossom trees are in full bloom ... so i decided to shoot the cherry blossoms in a minimalist approach.

this photo was taken using a polarising filter, hence the accentuated blue sky.

i know this photo is not to everyone's taste, but i thought it was a lot of fun. i was trying to be as minimal as possible.

Looks good David. It is ultra minimal for sure;) I see you gave up on the idea of a collage. I think one photo is the way to go.

i think ultra minimal would only have a tiny bit of flower and a lot more blue. the way you often use the sky as a bg is an effective way to show contrast... still, the detail and composition is fine
