Photographer's Note
A revisit to my favourite apartment blocks with my new ultra-wide full frame lens. It's a whole new perspective and coverage compared to my other digital version. I exposed for the sky to avoid blowing it out thus the heavy underexposed areas in the shadows. The lens exhibits quite a bit of light fall-off too but I generally crave this effect in photos so it doesn't bother me. Hope you like it.
In regards to using film nowadays, I cheat and shoot everything in colour(velvia 100 in this case) then convert to B&W digitally. Photoshop is so handy that I can achieve the B&W look I want and skip the hassle of sending in B&W film for development cause it takes too long. Also the photo doesn't look as sharp or clean as the original because of my old cheap scanner.

Hi Bennett
Impressive graphics, the BW tones work so well to create this kind of atmosphere. Interesting lighting from above that makes this somewhat like a tunnel. Great shot!
Cheers

Hi Bennett, nicely spotted, like the smooth transition here from the dark shadows on the base of the buildings to the much brighter centrally positioned sun. Dense apartment blocks in Korea are perfect for this type of setting and your 12mm does it great justice! TFS!

*mind explosion*
What a magnificent shot. The mood is perfect, the light exquisite, the shadows even better and the composition flawless. I love this. It seems almost like a maquette shot in a film of some futuristic city or something. Truly captivating and exquisite. It makes me feel small yet also in awe at the same time, something not many shots ever achieve! Woah!
TFS! And Thanks for blowing away my visual mind! :D
