Photographer's Note

After drinking too much coffee and getting a little bored, I hit the road to Gyeongju, Famous Korean city for all things old and interesting. Not expecting much I road into the city to check out some famous cultural site which were surprisingly closed.

Not to be disappointed I rode into the city to Check out Anapji Pond, and found a festival taking place. Just behind the large pavilion, in this shot was a large stage that through out the night had some pretty good performances. Even after living in Korea for 4 year I was impressed.

Aside from that I would highly recommend Anapji Pond to anyone visiting Gyeongju. With the lights and the pond reflections, I can see why this was a place of relaxation for the Silla Queen. They have done a wonderful job of restoring the site to make it relaxing and beautiful, especially in the evenings.
