Photographer's Note

I manage to take this nice shot of this cute little girl living in a Bamboo house on stilts in the country side of Thailand close to the Myanmar Border in Mae Sariang. The little girl was with her mother her mum was doing some type of traditional way of sewing as the child was playing beside parent.

This was taken in a small road side where about 20 traditional bamboo houses on stilts lay all of which families are living in a very traditional way of life. The place is located in the deep country side in Mae Sariang near the border with Burma the place is filled with beautiful mountains and the greatest views you can gaze your eyes upon. Many Burmese people have made this section of Thailand their home due to extreme poverty and the violent conflict war against the people of Burma, in Thailand they have better rights and live safely.

Meeting the many locals here were the nicest and lovely people you meet, the local kids were always excited seeing a foreigner and posed very well with my camera some were a bit shy to.

This unseen part of Thailand in which not many westerns or tourist have seen is one of the very few places in Thailand you will come across of people living in traditional huts and life styles if you travel away from the tourist spots like Chaing Mai and Bangkok you might come across places like this mostly found near the Burmese/Thailand Border.
