I decided the photo could do with a serious crop in order to focus on the rocks in the background and the family on the beach

29/12/04
I added this photo to the Tsunami Memorial theme. It is hard to beleive this beautiful place went through such a tragedy. This is one of my favourite photos and I even opened a theme dedicated to krabi a few months ago.

Looking at the pictures in the news and then going through these photos makes us understand how extreme nature is- its beauty is as strong as its disrtruction. So very sad to think this place was in the heart of the catastrophe.

Great colors and silhouettes.. The reflexes on the water gave it a awesome effect of sunset.. Exelent job..
Ps. A think that it's a little noisy so I made an workshop.

Cropping is difficult, because when checking out your first version I saw the reason why you didn't crop it in the first place, there is much more to that sky than this version reveals. However if you don't compare them the sky here is great, and you're right the focus is good, and the cropping helped alot in that area. Good thoughts and great picture.

Bonjour Jonathan.
J'aime beaucoup les couleurs de cette image. Le sujet est trčs intéressant avec ces marcheurs et ces bateaux qui viennent agrémenter la scčne. Mais cette importante masse foncée ŕ droite n'est pas jolie: je tente un WS.
