Sapa is a beautiful village north in Vietnam (up in the mountains), I hope this shot captures some of the beauty.

This is a lovely picture. I love the composition created by the river zizzaging through the frame. The paterns, made by the rice field terracing is wonderful. I love the colours of emerald green, cold grey-blue and the red earth.

If asked to guess where this was I would have said Nepal!
You have captured beauty; the meandering river takes your eye through the picture, admiring the patterns made by the terraces.

I've been here in June, bringing home some photos, but this capture made me think I have NOT been here yet. I didn't realize the big difference of the rice color after less than a month...

Hei Svein,
This is a very good composition with the river bending like a serpent down the valley! And rice terraces are such fascinating subjects, with those lines it is hard to go wrong... You manage to convey that (correct) fresh green colour very well and I also like the small farms scattered around
