Full of colour, a photo from Ho Chi Minh, South East

The Ben Thanh markets in Ho Chi Minh City are full of colour - quite literally in the case of this flower stall and the almost camouflaged flower arranger.

The Ben Thanh markets first opened in 1914. Today its narrow aisles are full of people clamouring to sell you all manner of souvenir items - T-shirts and aluminum, silk, bamboo, and lacquer wares. Also there is plenty for the Saigonese - vegetables, meats, spices, sweets, clothing, hardware and flowers.

As if the flowers didn´t provide all the necessary colours here; the shop-keeper adds several other colours as well A very pleasant picture of daily life, somewhere far away.

i remember this market very well( i have a photo from here but not as good as yours)I remember how these women almost disapeared in all colors, a perfect camouflage :)Fine street photo with excellent colors and sharpnes, Tfs !
