Photographer's Note
When I bough a drink in a small coffee shop in Hanoi. I could not believe when I saw her was giving me a cup of tea, she's really old, weak and it seems she's lonely (nobody was there in the shop). I sat nearby her for while and took this photo - The reason ? I think you,all of you could understand why.

Hello Ireland,
Welcome to TE ! What a so nice first picture !
The face of this woman is so sharp, and very well exposed, contrasting with the black background.
Congratulations for this wonderful portrait.
A note would be nice.

Great portrait, the detail on her face is amazing and you have composed the shot beautifully. The dark background allows us to focus on her face with no distractions, and the choice of black and white was a good one.

This is a truly beautiful portrait. I love the profile style and the far-away look in her eyes like she is remembering times long ago in her youth. The elderly make the most interesting portrait subjects - their faces, especially the eyes, are so expressive! A great debut.

I really like this photo very much but there are some details that distract me: white frame and gray areas just by the neck. The long nect looks a little bit not natural to me, maybe it's because of your crop. I've posted a workshop for this photo. Anyway :) it's a great shot - thanks for sharing and WELCOME TO TE!
