This portrait captures the feel of both a time and a place. Well selected.
My only comment would be towards more contrast perhaps (to bring up the darker shades like her hair), but this might detract from the overall 'feel'.
Overall, very nice though.

Old-fashioned look, like it was shot in the 1950s or 1960s (You say it's old, but is it that old?). It's a convetional studio pose from that era - nicelt done, of course. And it seems to have some personal value for you, so I won''t say any more :-).
