Bikers in Hanoi (3/3), a photo from Ha Noi, Red River Delta

Photographer's Note

This shot was taken late evening while I was on a rickshaw heading back to the hotel. Sitting on a rickshaw or 'cyclos' as they are known in Hanoi can be quite a experience in itself. They command the respect of the street and somehow traffic will find a way around them irrespective of which direction you could be heading. Not for those with the faint hearted.

Hi Andre,
This one is y favorite of the three, the bike is a bit blurred but you have good sharpness on the two riders showing that you got the right focus. I like the dynamic of the surrounding blur that goes a bit in the direction of panning.

very well captured shot of a great effect, with good timing and focus on the first bike. The sense of motion is excellent with all the blurred surroundings. Good lighting and nice colours, too. Well done!

hallo andre,
nice shot.it's not easy to operate camera for this scene.forget the composition,just capture.but you have the colors and lights that impact my eyes.and you can keep the seeing in night scene.well done.

i've ever been hanoi,and i stayed at bamboo guesthouse.it's nice.your shot makes me remind there.

I'm glad you've got a good focus on the two riders in the front. The bluring of the rest of the picture gives it a sense of movement.

Very well captured motion - good sharpness where it is necessary. You chosed a good the expo! The mixed colors of the shoops makes it more happy and live!

First of all I applaud the timing of the shot with focus on the first scooter..the fuzziness in the rest of the picture gives the real feel of motion.all this is low light, night conditions. Excellent!
