Food server, a photo from Colon, East

This lovely lady was a food server at the gathering to welcome visitors to her village. We were served fish and fried plantains on a banana leaf, with a hibiscus flower for decoration. The location was the meeting hall of the village of the Emberá tribe in Eastern Panama. The village consists of palm-thatched huts with dirt or elevated wooden floors. The meeting hall had open sides all around, and was quite large. The Emberá people are open and friendly, and welcome visitors to their town(s).

Hallo Bill,
ich muss mich für meine nicht vorhandenen Englischkenntnisse schämen, leider hatte ich in meiner Schulzeit nie Englischunterricht!
Dein Foto erinnert mich ein bisschen an Ägypten, bei den Beduinen. Dein Foto ist wirklich sehr gut, sehr gute Farben und Bildschärfe, es gefällt mir sehr!
