Die Burg Rappottenstein ist eine mittelalterliche Burg in Rappottenstein im Nordwesten Niederösterreichs. Die Burg wurde nie erobert, und zählt daher zu den besterhaltenen Burgen Österreichs.
Um 1150 gründete Rapoto von Kuenring im Waldviertel zur Sicherung des Besitzes der Kuenringer eine Reihe von Burgen, deren mächtigste Rappottenstein war.

Was für ein Anblick! Dass Angreifer hier weiche Knie bekamen kann man verstehen ...
Dein Blick aufwärts verstärkt diesen Eindruck sehr. Eine Bilderbuch-Burg und wieder ein toller Beitrag!

A fine view of the castle in clear natural colours. and a fine composition where you were able to create a diagonal by including the tree, balanced by the dark cloud. Fine work, a pleasure to look at.

Oj przy takich widoczkach to mozna sie zasiedziec. Musze przyznac, ze jakosc oraz tresc Twoich fotek doskonale promuje region i zapewne, gdybym mial mniej naplanowane - wybralbym sie tam bez watpienia. Sam wiesz, ze niekiedy zdjecia sa duzo ladniejsze niz samo miejsce w rzeczywistosci;) Piekna fota!

This is a nice shot of this great castle. The trees frame the shot nicely. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The clouded sky provides nice contrast for the brightly lit castle.

bisher das beste Bild von dieser gewaltigen Burg! Wunderbare Farben und Kontraste und dazu dieser sehr schön bewölkte blaue Himmel. Die grünen Tupfer der ersten Blätter machen den Eindruck ganz besonders attraktiv. Glückwunsch!

bien cadrée celle-ci.
Et j'aime les couleurs des pierres. Ca vaut la peine des fois de se déplacer hors des sentiers pour trouver l'angle le plus riche pour la prise de vue.
