The weather on my holiday turned cloudy and uninspiring. It was unlikely that I'd get any great
landscape pictures that day. Time to look down.

Why did the snail cross the path? I guess it had already seen everything on the other side!

Hi Kari,
I really like this shot. The composition is great and I really like the panoramic view. It intensifies the idea that he is moving on "towards new adventures" (slowly but surely :P) It's funny, most people consider these little creatures as pests, but in their own little way, they are quite cute! Well seen and nice background to compliment the snail. Very nice work!

Hi Kari

This is one of the most beautiful picture of ANIMALS I have ever seen, an amazing close up where we can see the texture of the snail and that is very importan in this kind of picture. And also the entire composition is great. !!! WELL DONE !!

Excellent cute shot, very good choice of format.
The title is very well chosen: usually we prefer when there is room left in the direction of the eyes, or of the movement. But in this very case, I like the fact that we "feel" that the snail has already explored the left part of the photo, and is heading towards the right, that we cannot see, so we can imagine it is a whole new world for him/her.

Very nice, and good DOF as well.
