Cloudy belgian corner, a photo from Antwerpen, Flanders

Photographer's Note

This curious street belongs to Mechelen city. It is one of the most delightful corners I´ve ever seen.

It seems a little world of calmness and fantasy within the real world where we live in.

It follows a same pattern related to esthetic criteria, all the houses are decorated with flowers, in fact the whole facade is decorated with flowers as you can see.

i'm a genuine belgian dude and i must say: you made a nice shot here. Good colours, good composition, although it might be a little overexposed.

Strange colour balance here Miguel, it almost looks like it was shot on infra-red film. I'm not sure what you've done, but I like the effect.
Perhaps it's a bit of a visual cliche, but I think this would be improved by having something 'alive' (apart from the trees!) in the shot; a cat, a dog, a man, anything.
Other than that, I think it's very good, and the strange colours add to the impact.

A very nice point of view, but most of the interest come from this reg ivy or climbing vine, which has really a marvellous red color and lighten the whole picture. The sky is not up to that level, but the sharpness remains very good.

Hola Miguel!

There is an intimate quality to this space, influenced by the alleyway and the warm glow of sunlight on the ivy-covered walls. Great ambience to start with here, and you have taken advantage of it quite well!
