I took this picture this morning, a grey weather, a trip of 45 km.

The Sint-Vincentius Church is the parish church of the village of Ramskapelle, which is part of the West Flemish municipality of Knokke-Heist.

History
Ramskapelle became an independent parish around 1250-1260, which split off from that of Dudzele. The already present chapel became a parish church.

The oldest part of the current church is the tower, which dates back to the 13th or 14th century. During the last quarter of the 16th century, the church was largely destroyed during the Wars of Religion.
The church was provisionally taken into use between 1605-1610, with definitive restoration after 1634-1635.
In 1863-1864 the church was replaced by the current neo-gothic church designed by Pierre Buyck, while the tower was spared.

I hope you like it
