Photographer's Note

In 1939, there was an international exhibition in Liège. The theme was the water. One could admire "The diver and his arch", artwork of Idel Ianchelevici, a young romanian sculptor who studied fine arts in Liège.
The City of Liège bought the moulding of the artwork ... but it was lost!

Fortunately, some researches made by the University of Liège lead to its discovering and the artwork was settled again in 2000 at the Port des Yachts of the river Meuse.

The photo : ideal timing in summer to have a good diner at "La Capitainerie" (restaurant along the river Meuse, which I highly recommend if you want to enjoy good food, good mood and great view on the river) and to finish the evening with a great blue hour!
