One week ago, I made a bike trip to Damme.
35 km there and back is sufficient for my age.
But with much pleasure

History
This farm is also one of the old van Damme
Perfectly maintained and beautifully restored
An eye-catching building for many visitors

Damme is a city in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The city is a tourist attraction with many old buildings.
Van Damme counts slightly more than 11,000 inhabitants, which are called Dammenaars.

Hello John, a very summery shot. A blue sky with little pieces of cloud , and the bright sunshine helping to create good reflections of the farm on the water.
Once again, a lovely place to go for a bike ride.

de spiegel wordt onderbroken door het kroos, maar het blijft een mooie plaat John.

Hallo John,
Wat een vreemd kleurrijk bord boven op de brug. Het past niet echt in dit landellijk stilleven. Is het een aanhangwagen van die auto? Ik kan het niet goed zien.
Damme oogt weer schitterend op deze foto. Prachtig met de rode daken op de witte gevels, het kalme water van het kanaal dat alles mooi weerspiegelt, het vele groen langs beide boorden en de zachte wolkjes in de lucht.
De compositie, diepte en scherpte zijn uitstekend. De foto straalt rust uit op een warme zomerse dag.

Lovely summer weather on this canal side view. Your framing is excellent giving a view along the canal on the left and some tree framing on the right. Those small clouds look very nice.

Hi John,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The length of the river or canal is giving depth to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the farm buildings. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

L'influence de la chaleur porte sur les rivičres, étangs, pičce d'eau, des lentilles ou des algues se forment empęchant les poissons de respirer normalement !

Hello John,
The algae provide an interesting tone, somewhere between green and yellow, but leave enough of the water for the fine reflections of the buildings and the billboard by the bridge. It's a neat and pleasant scenery and a beautiful weather that created very good colours and light.

Nice reflections in the part of the stream not covered by duckweed. Good sharpness, perfect density levels, and punchy light contrasts. The bridge provides a nice focal point at left. Tfs!

I'm not surprised that this is a tourist attraction, it is absolutely beautiful, with its canal, its attractive houses, its rural setting and a bridge! In your photograph they look amazing under the warmth of the sun's glow.
You have composed the photograph with your usual care, ensuring that there is a good guiding line and the features strongly arranged.
The icing on the cake is the capture of the reflections and shadows, facing each other across the water!

Hello John,
The advertising hoarding on the bridge seems somewhat out of place, but looking closer I see that it is on the side of a trailer being hauled by the vehicle in front. Otherwise, this is a delightful peaceful scene captured under a pleasant ambient light. The colours are most agreeable and the lovely sky provides a nice backdrop.
