Photographer's Note

Hi, there,
Here you are another summer look at the cape Galata. The tip of the cape isn't to be seen here but the shot gives an idea about the pleasant bay formed.
By the way, according to one of the few legends, one day, centuries ago, two fishermen caught in their nets a girl of extraordinary beauty. She was nearly drowned when they miraculously pulled their load.
As you may guess, she survived.
In the course of time both fishermen, who were friends, became rivals for they both had fallen in love with the girl.
Galatea was the girl's name.
She respected her saviours very much and she hated, both men fighting.
So, one day, no longer enduring the sight of their growing haterid, she jumped off the cliffs and turned into snow-white frothy wave.
And the legend says, since then the cape received this name.
