Sunset at Lokvarsko Lake, a photo from Primorsko-Goranska, Coast

Photographer's Note

From my short trip to Lokve, Gorski Kotar (750 m above sea-level)
This is the view of Lokvarsko Lake (2.1 sq km). This is a storage lake on the river Lokvarka and it was created to supply the hydroelectric power plants with water.
This lake is also very popular freshwater fishing destination. It is also great for swimming, especially during the hot summer days, because it is only 40 min away from the big cities such Zagreb and Rijeka and lots od visitors come here and enjoy the fresh air. Years ago it was a well known destination for competitions in underwater orientation.
The highest mountain in the background is Mount Risnjak.

the light and th ecolors are both amazing, with great soft tones.

Wow, great soft tones! True golden highland sunset.
The water reflection is just right for this typo of photo.
I like the composition and, although I usually dislike it, thick black frame is appropriate here.
Great job done, I envy you for the POV. Must go check it out this weekend ;)

nice capture, but the black board is too wide, and crushes a little the photo ... beautiful landscape (a pity the picture is small), with a magic light.
i guess why you enjoyed this moment ...

Gorgeous image! Perfect colors, lighting and composition! The ripples on the water against the reflecting light and clouds in the sky really add to the image!
