Photographer's Note
when I first saw this lady I didn't know her destiny
I took her photo cause she looked really nice with all this baggs around her and this huge umbrella in the middle of sunny day. I was convinced she was just coming back from market place, and for the end I thought that the man behind her was her husband.
but unfortunaly I assumed things wrong.
soon I started to see her on regular basis and I saw and realized she was homeless; dragging her baggs with her all the time and the man that was behind her was just a stranger in her life, not a husbant or a lover.
alone and without the roof over her head;
I also posted original photograph in color so tell me what do you think; which one is better...

Not any doubt for me ,Ana, the BW version is better, so far.
The light is beutiful here, in her hair overall.

Powerful capture, Ana. great job. Extremely moving the way yu set up her "domesticity" which is actually rootless and vulnerable to the four winds...
Bravo, this is very mature work indeed.

Wonderful shot, Ana, all the way. Excellent shot, both the b/w and the colour, though the b/w is closer to me. With your note, it even has a new dimension. Very touching, and perfectly seen and executed capture.
A very, very accomplished photograph!

Hi Ana. First, good choice to convert it to b/w. I love this big "A" in the frame, it adds nice symmetry. also nice with this woman's things strewn about, her focusing, him staring into space. well done.

She really doesnt look homeless at all! Look at her clothes, her neat appearance, even her pearls~! This is a great way to show that we shouldnt judge the book by its cover.
The b/w is by far superior. The mood it sets is much more appropriate for this photo.

Zdravo Ana :)
I dvete fotografii se izvonredni, i kompoziciski i so atmosferata sto ja dolovuvaat. Koga ja vidov crno-belata ne veruvav deka e mozno da mi se dopadne poveke onaa vo boja, no koga ke razmislam podobro sepak favorit mi e taa vo boja. Mi ima pooptimisticki ton.

Hi Ana.
Both versions are good, but at the same time very different. I prefer this one. The black and white add a nice touch.
The composition is good, but the light and the two old men add good and interesting elements.
Well seen and nice work.
Regards.

A very powerful street shot Ana and a good note to accompany it - fine tone and contrast and a really intresting composition to have this A frame so prominent in it.
best wishes Kev

Touching photo. She's dresssed nicely; one wouldn't think she's homeless. But there's something about her going through her bags which is disquieting... and you've captured it nicely.

In my opinion, black and white creates much stronger impact to me.
