Photographer's Note
A couple of common dragonflies "planning for the future" on a sunny afternoon. These dragons are about 5 cm long, and most of them do not have the orange/gold colouring on the innermost part of the wings that do these two.
----------
Thanks to Rob for the proper name of the creatures. At present I'm still struggling to grasp the Danish names for the different varieties, let alone the English equivalents.. And, Rob, you probably guessed already - I never *had* her wing tips. Tried to save face by cropping close to his wings, too ;-) Working at arm's length with a tiny screen in full sunlight makes it difficult even to spot the darters, let alone keep track of where the wings are. When I grow to get experienced and wise in the ways of darters and their cousins, I shall probably know without seeing, but for now I'm still amputating my fair share of wings, sad to say.
Sorry about the unruly background, I did ask them to move over, but they paid no heed ;-)

Please retitle this uncommon dragonflies :0)))# ,this is a cracking capture good colour and sharpness, down side for me is you have either lost or never had her bottom wing tips in the pic and his wing tip needs sharpening.
They are a a pair of yellow winged darters according to my book, have never seen them as we dont get them here in UK.

Intense colours with an extraordinary point of view! I like the movement from sharpness to fuzziness. Very good!!!!

Superbe qualité du détail! le sujet semble par contre un peu ŕ l'étroit dans le cadre.

Details are perfectly shown on a large part of your subject, due to a good DOF choice (f/8). It's not so easy to achieve, and it's very well executed. I just regret a too busy background. Seems also a bit overexposed (easily corrigible).

Pretty detail and not simple A to take in photograph, it always moves but on this blow it is rather well done.

Very beautifull picture. Not easy to take.
The size is good. Beautifull colours. Good sharpness. It must be nice to see this back.
