Photographer's Note
Richard and Jack started to post old shots – so here’s my very first photo from 1964 (age 11) – a backlight shot taken at a family outing with a camping table and the fine old green Hillman car in the background – too bad my father got covered by that plant.
I can’t image myself wearing a hat on a Sunday trip – but on that time it was a standard for men :-)

very funny shot, and great first one too, great to share our first pics, but I dont think I remember my first shot, if I have it must be a shot from a very very old kind of film which no body uses anymore and they produce more grains than looking at grains of rice.
Well done, and yes it does seem it is taken back in the 60's.

It's becoming a document about lifestyle in the sixties. Very funny. Considering the clothes of people, it seems that this was a rather cold day.

Great idea, Jeppe - great retro feel to this scene (I was born three years after you took this). The laid-back picknick atmosphere is conveyed, and I also find the dressing code very interesting. I have to say that your compositional skills have improved over the last 40 years :o) If more people were contribute, this could make one of TE's most interesting themes (not sure where and when I took my first picture; would have to check with my dad if he knows).

What a nice old shot, Jeppe. A classic shot of the 60's, with those hats, the old car and the old fashioned sunglasses. It looks like a candid shot. I can see the sources of your tallent now, Jeppe. Very well done.

Another good idea, that I am sure a lot of us will pick up on. Why is it that our first attempts all look like this? Tilted, subjects cropped, people hidden and all kinds of funny over- or underexposure faults. These days we have to work very hard at creating something as artistic as this.
PS People were good in those days - not a beer bottle in sight.

Hi.
So the big talent started to work then....
Take a look at some of the photos Izzet is sending. Some of them even more than 50 years old.
I like it here that you seem to sneak out on them and just pressed the button...
take care, Aleks

So Fyn born and Bred, I missed this one when you posted it, but interesting to see what you could do at 11 (can you remember the camera?)! You beat me there by 3 years, my shot in this category was taken when I was 14. I do have some shots taken the previous year, but none of any interest.

Hi Jeppe,
A wonderful old photo here. Brings back memories about those old days.
I imagine what was the camera you used for such a photo.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers

Hi Jeppe,
Nice contribution to the theme, looks like we have an early talent here, I like especially how you catched the relaxed "sunday afternoon mood".

Hermann
